Chief Academic Officers Committee

Comprised of the chief academic officers from each institution and the branch campuses of the University of Cincinnati and Miami University, this committee sponsors the production of several faculty development events as well as the annual Celebration of Teaching honoring the teaching award winners from each institution.  Some of the faculty development activities sponsored by the Chief Academic Officers Committee are produced in collaboration with the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE).

The Chief Academic Officer Committee is governed by an Executive Committee comprised of a Chair, Vice Chair and three at-large members.  The Executive Committee has the authority to make decisions on behalf of the committee when necessary.  The Executive Director consults with or requests direction from the Executive Committee when issues arise requiring attention/action.
